There is strength in numbers! Teachers, parents, and community members can band together to make a strike free education a possibility in Pennsylvania.   Please join us in this quest to protect our children from extended interruptions in their education due to teacher strikes.

Petitioning our state legislators is the most direct way to make them aware of our needs.  Our state representatives are more likely to help in this endeavor if they see that it is supported by their constituents.  The Strike-Free Education Act, House Bill 920, needs your help in order to be passed. 

Your support in this does not imply that you are for or against teacher unions and/or the school board.  School strikes only serve to thwart the very purpose of education, the consistent interaction between teacher and student.  Lets band together and make them a thing of the past.

Teacher strikes are already prohibited in 37 states.  The passing of this act would serve to protect teachers, parents, taxpayers, and more importantly, school children.  This would streamline the negotiation process while also enforcing transparency for everyone involved.
