You may also know in 2021; we uncovered dog farms just one hour from this brutal place and in 2022 we stopped a truck with over 386 dogs heading to slaughter.
Our China team will return there at the end of the month. We are making the two-day trip from our shelter in Beijing. What differs from other international NGOs or overseas animal lovers is that the people who will go will also risk imprisonment for opposing the government's failure to act. They are devoted Chinese rescuers and students who want to make a difference. They have also not stopped trying to push for animal welfare laws and to rescue, even throughout the pandemic.
