Ms. Gonçalves was my teacher, and I was given the opportunity to personally experience her love and dedication to what she does. She is a single mother who had to flee with her four-year-old child from an abusive husband/father. She formally was a teachers assistant at the collegiate level and a teacher at the secondary level, passionately educating students in the University of Georgia and our high school.

Ms. G desperately misses her students and wants to continue making a positive impact on their lives. Her application for U.S. residency papers needs to be expedited so she can provide for her child and return to teaching as soon as possible.
