On May 20, 2021 The City of Toronto Planning and Housing Committee held an embarrassing online meeting where they openly ignored and insulted concerned citizens like you.

For hours they  avoided the facts, the serious legal precedents and policy issues raised by residents. Residents like you who want to protect 650 vulnerable seniors at Willowdale Manor and Cummer Lodge, from sneaky City officials who secretly decided to strip of their cherished parklands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeqoNIuwAwk

And then the Committee welcomed the comments of the man leading the charge to trample seniors rights and destroy the  park on their lands. A man who refuses to reveal the other 50 sites he claims the City considered but rejected. The committee congratulated John Filion for his "courage"  (yes, the 30 year Councillor who 70% of voters voted AGAINST  in the last election, and who claims to represent Willowdale while he sold his house and moved to The Beaches).

And then Mr. Filion said you, yes you the Voices of Willowdale, do not represent the community and have not tabled a single fact!

And then the Committee voted to strip you, yes you, of all your civil rights to information and appeal under the Planning Act!
