Our son has his trach still and BCBSTX HEALTHSELECT has now denied all his nursing house. Now we have just medicaid and will probably loose our nursing because medicaid doesn't pay well. I truly believe now that BCBSTX healthselect select wants our son to die. 

He is 4 yrs old, very smart, knows his numbers and letters, learning to speak, use a speaking device, learning how to walk, etc. 

Who are they to say our son's life is not important. Until they have walked in our shoes and the nurses taking care of him 24 hrs a day then they have no right to make these calls. 

I have lost my faith in our representatives and media because no one is willing to help us. The population of trach kids is low so insurance companies just want these kids to die because they cost them too much money.
