Seminars were held this week in Mackay, Townsville and Cairns to introduce the Hon George Christensen MP (member for Dawson) and the Hon Warren Entsch MP (member for Leichhardt) who discussed the proposed Coalition Insurance Policy. The meetings were all well attended. Members of the Coalition Policy Committee have submitted their ideas as to how our insurance crisis can be solved, not only for strata but for all types of policies. In the next few months these submissions will be discussed, and feasible ideas selected. These will then be put to the party and policy formed. Mr Christensen thought the party policy would be in place by end of July 2013. My comment: My thanks go to those involved. With all the information they now have at hand, the outcome is looking promising from the LNP at least. Hopefully all other parties will now take action to help us - because we need the help.
