It's consistent with what we've been hearing from policyholders across Australia, though North QLD is obviously a special case - and an area where the widespread "market failure" appears to be particularly acute. Your detailed work adds yet more evidence to our view that the insurance industry is failing Australians and using the flood and disaster issue as a pretext to price many consumers out of the market and/or shore up profit margins.
