If those who are renting thought this crisis didn't affect them, they had better think again.
Investors are backing out of north Qld due to the high ongoing costs brought about by the insurance premiums. Vacancy rates are reducing, and rents are increasing. Even the Weekend Australian is warning investors to stay clear of us.
And the Minister for Housing and Homelessness, Brendan O'Connor MP, doesn't get it. When is this Government going to understand this insurance crisis affects us all - them included.
