The response to the Productivity Commission investigation into disaster funding was sneaked in on 22nd December 2016 – all recommendations rejected as it isn’t a Federal issue 2. The response to the NAIP Taskforce report (rubbish) was due out 30th June 2016 – still waiting State Government: 1. Still no acceptance of the $12.5M assigned in the Federal budget 2014 for proper strata risk assessment – they don’t know how to administer it 2. The strata risk assessment tool designed and tested by the JCU Cyclone Testing centre is still sitting on someone’s desk where it has been for nearly 3 years M
