Yesterday, I spoke with the legislative aid for one of the top senators on the Senate Transportation Committee. He told me that their office has only received three emails from constituents in support of Senate Bill 241. THREE (3). He also said their office has received a letter from the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Organization (ROHVA) stating the ROHVA strongly opposes S.B. 241. He stated that the senators on the transportation committee need to receive an outcry of support from North Carolinians in order for this bill to pass. If they don't, this bill doesn't stand much of a chance.
