What has driven me to invest my time into starting a petition for a fictional character?
That is because to me, she is more than 'just a fictional character'.

How did my passion for Rumi start?
After watching K-Pop Demon Hunters as somone who is skeptical of hype, I must admit that I had a lot in common with some some characters, espcially the self-discovery journey that Rumi goes on, having both qualities of 'good and evil' within her.
Since we as humans on earth also experience this conflict, we can relate to trying to liberate ourselves from the things we rather not talk about.
I wrote a book (which I am not going to name and promote) but it is about learning to cope with the less pleasant and dark aspects of biological nature and also our modern existence as humans.
We all do our best and so does Rumi.
But even when we give our all, like in the movie, our goals can still crumble and fall apart.
Rumi and her wonderful friends Zoey and Mira stayed strong untill the end.
This is why she had left such a big mark on my heart.

But why a Rumi doll?
I love to see our stong female fighter in the from of something tangible we could display to have us closer to us.
This is different than hanging a painting on the wall, a pillowcase printing or rewatching the movie several times.
A doll or figure in 3D would provide comfort and strenght for who look at her or even cuddle her.

What type of doll/figure would it be?
I love to see our strong fighter be portrayed as either a:
- Posable fashion doll (such as a barbie)
- Plush doll 
- High quaity 1/3 scale silicone posable figure with implanted hair

Just being honest, I (Tara) the creator of this post, am a disabled person that deals with constant pain, spasms and a struggling neurology. 
The condition I have makes life hard and has left trauma in trying to survive and doing my best.
My honest and straight forward motivation for this doll is, to be able to cuddle Rumi, or at least a realistic doll that resembles her, to hold in my arms (or vice versa) when I am sad or need extra emotional support.
I do not care if it sounds silly, I am an adult who practices emotional intelligence so my goal is to be able to provide a solution of comfort to others around me.
And ofcourse, I am not obsessed, I am just a regular person who like a fictional character.
In my free time, I just like innovation and to see if I can push the boundaries of reality and open the minds of many people.
My hope is to inspire Netflix to make a high quality rumi doll, preferably from silicone, since there are a lot of non-erotic figures that have fine beautiful details such as implanted hair, eyelashes, eyebrows and are extremely durable and posable.
Such a doll would really help me to calm down and hold while taking a nap for example, since sleeping with a disibility is difficult.
