Morning Meadow Animal Rescue has been providing residents of Dallas County with help removing stray and injured animals at their homes and on the roads since February 2010. MMAR takes 4-6 calls weekly from county residents needing removal of stray, injured, vicious or abandonded animals.
MMAR has found homes for over 600 of these animals through adoption across Arkansas and in states including IL, TN, MA, CO, NY, CT, and TX. Cats, dogs, horses, mules and donkeys have been taken in from Dallas County. These animals deserve a 2nd chance at life and can have it with our help.

MMAR has worked with both the Dallas County Sheriff and Fordyce Police Departments on animal abuse cases. Six cases have been tried and won with 2 cases pending.

The City of Fordyce has recognized the animal problem within the city limits and has provided MMAR $500.00 monthly to help with costs since January 2012. MMAR is asking Dallas County to do the same, provide $500.00 monthly to help with costs. Feed alone for 1 month is $846.00.

MMAR is staffed with volunteers and relies on donations along with the help from the City of Fordyce. The animal problem is huge and help is needed from Dallas County. Without it, MMAR will no longer be able to provide county residents with help dealing with stray and injured animals.
