HELP ME to HELP US to HELP OUR CHILDREN

HELP ME to HELP US to HELP OUR CHILDREN
The Issue
My children have been unjustly taken into the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in Savannah, GA due to a comment that was taken out of context and has since been stricken from court records. Despite this, I have been denied unsupervised visits and all communication with my children's counselors and therapists.
In a distressing event, major Trauma not due to any action of my own.has torn my family apart. Not knowing how to handle the sensitive situation I tried to seek out resources and help for myself and my family, to no avail. My son went to live with his father. The case was then closed. Months after the incident, with my older son RETURNED back home to my care, the case was reopened. I implored DFCS to remove my oldest son from the home to a therapeutic setting that would help him to process his trauma which in turn would allow me to process my own. Yet my pleas were ignored. This has led to the heartbreaking outcome of both children being removed from my care - an ordeal that I am determined to correct.
The DFCS in Savannah is failing to uphold its duty to act in the best interests of my children, despite my efforts to secure a safe environment for the both of them. In a therapeutic setting. The removal of my children was based on information that was proven to be false. Furthermore, the continued lack of communication only exacerbates the situation, preventing any chance of healing and reconciliation.
I am seeking your support to appeal the current child custody order enforced by DFCS. It's critical for a judge to examine this case closely, reevaluate the evidence, and ensure my children are in a nurturing and safe environment. Families undergoing similar struggles in Savannah, Chatham and other surrounding Counties need to be heard and treated fairly, with transparency and compassion. Putting the we'll being of the children 1st.
Your signature can aid in reevaluating the decisions made by DFCS and shed light on a system that has become outdated and biased to the actual needs of the families and children it is suppose to servre. Please, help return my children to a safe and loving home. This petition isn't just about justice for my family; it's about addressing systemic issues within DFCS to prevent future unwarranted separations. Please sign this petition to support a fair review of all the circumstances and to ensure that children in Savannah grow up in safe, loving, and supportive homes. Together, we can help foster a system that truly protects and supports families in need.
