BREAKING NEWS: Perjuring Priest Bob Malm Sued in Pennsylvania

Friends,

As many of you know, prior to her death from COPD, perjuring priest Bob Malm attempted to drag Mom into court. Specifically, through his attorney, he sent Mom a facially invalid subpoena to attend a deposition.

Why was the subpoena invalid? The answer is simple: Pennsylvania requires prior leave of court in such cases. Bob and The Episcopal Church were represented by a nationally recognized attorney, Jeff Chiow, so he no doubt knew that his subpoena was illegal.

Bob also knew that Mom was receiving palliative care. Yet he later lied about this, claiming he didn’t know. And when he was told by Mom’s attorney that the court’s permission was required in order to subpoena her, he ignored that and kept right on haranguing the court. Yet even if he had prevailed, there was simply no way Mom could leave her home—something she hadn’t been able to do in several years—to attend a deposition.

Prior to her death, Mom assigned her rights in the case to me. I have filed suit on her behalf, asking the court to require Bob Malm to reimburse Mom’s estate for her legal fees.

Meanwhile, there’s more coming. I will be filing a civil suit in Virginia early next week against Bob to address his perjury and other misconduct.

It is sad that these measures are necessary. But when clergy abuse others, they need to be held accountable.
