Others Have Had Problems at a Grace Church

A favorite trick of folks at Grace Church, including Bob Malm, is to claim that I am the only person who has had issues. But staff who work at Grace School have expressed dismay at the way people at Grace Church talk to each other, as have former members.

Below is a screen cap of comments from another former member who had similar experiences. Nor is he alone; more than one former parishioner and staff member has had similar experiences.

So, if you are thinking of applying for the parish administrator position, or the family ministries position, just know that Grace is toxic. Yes, Michael Guy actually believes what he preaches, and he is an improvement over perjuring priest Bob Malm.

At the same time, 30 years of Bob Malm and his toxic, narcissistic legacy won’t be erased any time soon. That’s all the more the case when, as here, the diocese is still trying to ignore the problem. That’s typical for the diocese, and JP Causey, the chancellor, likes to tell the bishops not to get too involved for fear of liability. Never mind the members—the organization must be protected at all costs.

And so Grace, the diocese, and the Episcopal church continue their rapid decline into irrelevance and oblivion.
