First of all I just want to say thank you for reading my story and I would highly appreciate it if you could sign this.

Around 2 years ago now my ex-miss's family came to my house to collect her belongings. At the front door there were 3 members of her family visible in total. Doing the right thing I opened the door and said that's fine you can fetch her belongings only then to be charged by 5 more members of her family, 8 people in total. They came in and smashed the house up and then took her things. Including my dog! There was no reason for them to steal my dog out of my own house, they did this purely for spite and all because of the breakup. Relationships end and break ups happen in life and as they say we live and learn. But the main part of this story is they took my dog which I've owned her since she was a puppy and I trained her myself, she was 7 when she was taken from me. She'd lived all of her life with me, she is part of my family.

From this stage I called the police but as usual they were no help when the came to my house shortly after my dog was taken. They told me it was a Civil matter. I told them I'll go take my dog back then if that's the case. They then preceeded to tell me if I do I shall be arrested as the dog wasn't at my property. This makes no sense at all, so a few months down the line after chasing which way is the best way to get my dog home. I gathered all the information which included microchip details, insurance papers and vets bills which were all in my name and a bank statement from when I purchased her as a pup I had finally got my court case.

On the day of the court case I thought had nothing to worry about as my ex-parter had nothing in her name for my dog. As the hours passed in court my ex-partner put on a very good act and there was no need for all the tears, but as the day went on in the court, the judge gave my dog to her as he suspected I had purchased my dog for her as a gift when the truth of the matter is I did NOT! To anyone who knows me, knows my dog means the world to me and she came everywhere with me.

The judge told me if I want to appeal against the ruling I can do. So wanting too go down the right route and get my dog back, I did i appealed. This then went on for months, just to get back in the court and have another hearing. It took well over a year until I could get back in to court. As the day came around to go back to court, I had taken with me statements from a lot of my old neighbours from my old street that I used to live on with my dog. Including the old owner of my dog from when she was a puppy and this was who I purchased her from.

As the court case went ahead and after explaining everything to the judge, at the end of the court case the judge once again said sorry there's nothing I can do now so basically he wasted my time and to give the benefit to my x-partner again. The judge name who did is called Honour Judge Owen from derby county court, this judge clearly felt sorry for my x-partner both times.

2 years on now I keep appealing and I am still looking at solicitors and not giving up. There is one solicitor who I may have found to help. However, solicitors fee are a couple thousand.

It kills me inside everyday not being able to see my dog. Yes that's coming from a man which most men don't speak about the mental health but in this case I will. I need to get my dog home to me where she belongs.
