hi! i have an ex who leaked my address and I'm pretty sure is trying to threaten me for whatever reason. He had also basically hurt me so bad mentally I ended up into the hospital, and my parents refuse to get a restraining order against him. I am scared for my health and safety and I'm hoping this petition will convince them! 

I talked to multiple people, like 311 and an officer, plus someone who worked at the Vancouver courts, and they said this was a great choice for me, but my parents are against it. I just need to show people do care and that maybe this could even help petition against cyber bullying and all! 

I am doing somewhat alright now. I struggle to hold down food and I've been very dizzy. I've been making a good recovery, but the anxiety of leaving my house to go to my bass clarinet lessons hasn't helped.

I do online school, and otherwise he lives 40 minutes away, although he has friends down where I live and comes to visit the city I live in on weekends. I want him to not do anything to me anymore, and I really want a protection order. I am scared for not my life, but my well-being. We broke up 20 days ago, and he hasn't seem to let anything go. It's sickening how he thinks this is okay.

I confronted him about leaking my address to a high schooler in my area and sending one of his friends after me, and he completely played victim. I wish I had proof of the conversation, but if you were to ask him it DID happen. He keeps trying to say I'm the one sending people after him but I'm really not. I haven't done anything to him, although he's the one leaking my address and trying to get people against me, having zero disregard for my well-being.

Please help me convince my parents, as they're not scared but I am. Yes, we have cameras, but it could always still happen.

I have enough evidence to hold up in court, I just need help with convincing my parents to get it done.

I am a minor, 13 years old and these people are 13-16 I'm assuming. I cannot fight, I'm very weak from being sick, and we do not have any guns or protective weapons in my house anymore.
