The Issue

My son, Landon, was tragically killed on February 28, 2025, at just 27 years old. He was an experienced, responsible rider who followed every safety protocol every time he got on his motorcycle. Despite doing everything he could to protect himself, his life was taken in an instant.
After the crash, the driver who struck Landon was never tested for drugs or alcohol. To this day, no justice has been served, and our family has been left with unanswered questions that no grieving family should have to endure.
In Landon's memory, I am asking the state of Georgia to consider "Landon's Law"—a law that would require immediate drug and alcohol testing of drivers involved in crashes that result in a fatality. This isn't about assuming guilt; it's about ensuring accountability, preserving critical evidence, and giving families the transparency they deserve during the most devastating moments of their lives.
No law will ever bring my son back, but his story can help protect others. By requiring immediate testing after fatal crashes, we have the opportunity to strengthen accountability, improve roadway safety, and potentially prevent future tragedies. Please help us honor Landon's life by supporting Landon's Law and standing with us in our fight to create meaningful change for families across Georgia.
