Good news: Last night I addressed a motion by Randwick Councillor Philipa Veitch that the Council request the state government install four proposed signalised crossings at these intersections in the next financial year (2023-24). The motion requested that Council meet with Safe Streets to School - Randwick and representatives of three local schools to discuss practical ways to address pedestrian safety at these intersections, and that Council detail measures that can be taken if the planned signalised crossings can’t be installed in the next year.
