Barkworks, a chain of pet stores, here in 350 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, is selling dogs that are sick and selling dogs that are from puppy mills in the Midwest. Dogs who are bred in these factories are exposed to the elements, covered in feces, living in wire cages, and living in rabbit huts. This is not a humane way to treat breeding dogs, they deserve better; dogs are mans best friend. This place needs to stop the sale of puppies from puppy mills and change its business model to rescues only.

There is no reason to breed these companion animals when we kill 6 million in our nation’s shelter system every single year. We should be working to help relieve our municipal shelters from over pet population instead of killing them daily. Do not shop, ADOPT! Barkworks sells cruelty.
