Help keep Umar in Australia
The issue
Umar, my boss and a remarkable human being, Living in our community, he has not only been an exemplary business owner but has been a valued member of our community. His generosity knows no bounds—whether it's supporting local schools, donating in community events, or offering personal support to those in need, including myself.
Umar has given so much of himself, ensuring that every club, school, and organization in Town can thrive. His commitment to community development have earned him a revered place in our society. He has provided countless opportunities for people, has uplifted the spirits of the needy, and has been a source of hope and inspiration to all those around him. Personally, he has provided me with encouragement and a purpose to live a better life, a testament to his profound impact on individual lives.
Sadly, due to immigration challenges, Umar is facing the possibility of being deported from Australia. The loss of Umar would not only be a personal loss to me but would be a devastation to the entire community. It would mean a step back from the progress we've made towards a more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment. We cannot afford to lose someone who has given so much and asked for nothing in return.
Our town, and indeed our country, cannot afford this loss. We must stand united to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of individuals like Umar. We must ensure that dedicated community members are not forcibly separated from the places they call home.
Join me in signing this petition to urge the Department of Home Affairs to allow Umar to remain in Australia and continue his invaluable work. Together, let us send a message that our communities value and protect those who give so selflessly, and that Australia remains a country that treasures compassion, inclusivity, and diversity. Please sign this petition to show your support and help keep Umar where he belongs, with us.
