First off, we want to thank you all for signing the petition to help support California music pros in seeking an exemption under AB5. We are now close to 74,000 signatures! This petition helped us secure a meeting with the Senate Majority Leader Robert Hertzberg, which you can read about here: https://aristake.com/post/senator-hertzberg-ab5 

We are once again asking for your help. While some legislators have a grasp on our concerns, others may not. Especially those in districts outside of the large cities like LA, San Fran, San Diego (where much of the music industry is concentrated). We need people in less musically populated districts to contact their legislators and demand an exemption. Request to meet with them, tell them how devastating AB5 is to the music industry. Below is a link to help you find the legislators in your district. We've also included contact info for Governor Gavin Newsom, who needs to hear form all of us. We urge everyone to take action to help spread the word that AB5 is untenable for the music industry.
