In Montreal, McGill University's health center has had ongoing racism for many years, with the latest report covering cases was just last year. This has not only been affecting McGill's health centre, but many other hospitals in Quebec, where staff and patients face systemic racism even when there have been reports dating back to 2020. 

If proper training is not given to individuals within McGill's health center, there will be problems going into the future with this hospital, not only with staff, but also with patients. This will lead to decline and a feeling of safety within this hospital, as many look to seek medical attention where they can find it closest. 

Please help the staff, and patients feel safe from racism. No one deserves to feel threatened because of their race, and cultural background. A hospital is a place where you are given hope and a treatment, not a place where you are given insults and degradation. Help by demanding further training for staff in order to keep a safe, discrimination free environment.
