On Eve of Derek Chauvin Trial, Survivors of Police Brutality and Families of Victims Rally on March 6 National Day of Action

WHERE: Peters Park, 1277 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118; Cities nationwide including Boston, Baltimore, Dayton, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Albany, Seattle, and more.
DEMANDS: Convict Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd; Re-open past cases of police brutality
SUMMARY: The trial of Minneapolis police officer #DerekChauvin, who killed #GeorgeFloyd on Memorial Day, 2020, is scheduled to start March 8. Families fighting cases of police brutality and their supporters in cities and regions all over the country will hold simultaneous actions on, Saturday, March 6, to demand a guilty verdict. As we build pressure to convict in the trial, local families in every city will seize the moment to highlight their own battles, including demanding their cases be reopened and for police to be prosecuted.
