Help Give Clean Water to the Ramapough Tribe Community
The Issue
The Ramapough Mountain Indians, a faction of the Ramapough Lunaape Nation, has been actively advocating for clean water and remediation of the Ringwood Mines/Landfill Superfund Site in Ringwood, New Jersey. The site was contaminated by Ford Motor Company dumping toxic waste, including paint sludge and solvents, into old mine shafts from the 1960s to the 1970s. The tribe has been fighting for years to address the health impacts and environmental contamination, including elevated levels of cancer, birth defects, and other health problems. Please donate what you can so we can raise awareness!
