Big day today! We helped make Oakland safer for all by:

• Passing out 100 flyers in Spanish around Fruitvale BART and had a lot of great conversations-- particularly with elders who believe that pedestrian safety is public safety 
• Passing out 40 flyers in English to bicyclists around Fruitvale, Lake Merritt, Jack London Square and Uptown
• Connecting with youth advocates and local business owners who want to help spread the word 
• Continuing to push out the word on Twitter and Instagram

We are just about halfway to the big February goal of 1,000 signers supporting Safer Streets & Smarter Spending in Oakland and YOU (yes *YOU*) can help us get there from wherever you are right now by:
