Kalypxie was a beloved miniature schnauzer who was brutally murdered by Nixon Lugo, while walking with her owner Carlos R. Rodríguez Irizarry. Mr. Nixon Lugo drove at full speed and did not stop, in an area where you can not exceed 10 miles per hour. Despite the desperate cries of Mr. Carlos Rubén Rodríguez Irizarry, who could barely avoid being hit, Mr. Lugo refused to stop and ran over Kalypxie, killing her in front of her anguished owner. Kalypxie had one day less than 11 months.

The great indifference to the life of Kalypxie is the aggravated abuse of animals, at least, third-degree animal abuse, due to his complete contempt for his life. Mr. Nixon Lugo did not stop and went on the run. Mr. Rodriguez followed him home with a desire to talk to him, but he did not want to talk. Then the police arrived at the house of Mr. Nixon Lugo and the gentleman never wanted to cooperate, giving his version. Mr. Lugo must be punished to the fullest extent of the law and in a timely manner! The trial was to have been on July 10, 2018. Lugo is influential in the area, and the trial was postponed again, now September 27, 2018.

We ask for justice and demand no more delays: we will not let Kalypxie be forgotten as expected by Mr. Lugo and his lawyers. We demand the total penalty of the law for this horrible act of animal abuse and for the irreparable loss of a beloved member of the family.
