Good News and Bad News

Which would you like first? I'll start with the bad news: The RM of Parkdale No. 498 has decided to appeal the decision of the WCB. I believe this means they will reinvestigate to confirm their decision. Now the good news: 1) Two major Canadian publications will be sharing this story in the near future. Updates are to follow as more information comes available. Previously, the media who have covered this include: CBC News Saskatchewan, Global News, the StarPhoenix, and a radio station in Vancouver on #Bellletstalk day. 2) Brenda Duhaime spoke with the Premier of Saskatchewan, who said he would get the Minister of Labour and Workplace Safety involved. Occupaitonal Health & Safety then opened an investigation into the matter. This is great news, but just the beginning. 3) In the week and a half that followed the last petition update, the number of signatures nearly doubled. Momentum is building! I'd like to ask everyone reading this to please tell at least one person about this petition. Not just share the post (which is great too), but actually speak to someone specifically about what is going on here. Hopefully this will mean we can double in signatures again quickly.
