Carter haithcock was hit and killed in nashwauk MN on July 4th 2024 Cindy Martin hit him and left him to lay in the road to die she stopped then fled the scene the next morning she calls and reports she thought she hit a owl while being impaired because of  a prescription medication she has not gotten jail time and has not owned up to her actions we need justice for cater and his family and for Cindy Martin to be held accountable and be put behind bars now she has been put in jail for 365 days a 5 years of probation and has to sit in jail from July 3rd to the 6th every year in July that’s not enough justice for Carter or his family he deserves 100% justice Cindy doesn’t desist a slap on the wrist this sentence she got was a slap to the face for the community Carter and his family and friends Cindy deserves to go to prison
