In September of 2017 Judge Donna Pate gave full custody of a 9 year old little girl to a convicted felon that was selling drugs happening here in Madison County, Alabama. The child of this felon even entered in court that she has been both mentally and physically abused by her father and his wife. The mother whose rights were taken away is a law abiding, caring, loving, and protective parent who has never harmed her child in any way must less a convicted felon! This abuse of discretion is happening all over the country and is ripping children away from good parents due to power, money, and the "good ole boy system." The best interest of a child should not be influenced by who pays more for their attorney or who the judge likes. Please help us bring this situation to light, so that more children don't have to suffer like our precious baby.
