Jermaine has become a victim of the Kuwaiti system and is being targeted with multiple false accusations. Now they have released an article with his new sentence and making false allegations. It is being reported that Jermaine admitted to the charges, the Kuwaiti government continues to defame Jermaine character by picturing him as one of the biggest drug dealers ever arrested in Kuwait, but again according to the charges they are trafficking and manufacturing (seven) 7 grams of cocaine. There are several Kuwaitis that have been caught with kilos of multiple drugs including cocaine! Other Americans like Tyrone Patterson and Gabriel Walker are serving sentences of 15-20 years in prison for allegedly be in possession of more than a kilo of Marijuana. None of these individuals are being sentenced to life in prison or being defamed by the Kuwait government and media. Why is Jermaine the only one being targeted by the Kuwait government? They have denied him medical attention, physically and mentally abused him and only God knows what they will continue to do? It is sad that we claim to be the biggest and most powerful country but our government can’t bring Jermaine home, or at least make sure he has a fair trial. How can they sit there and just let the Kuwait government play with an innocent man’s life? When is it enough ? Are they going to wait until it is too late and Jermaine ends up dead to try to bring him home? Jermaine is broken mentally, physically and spiritually. It is so unfair for him to serve a sentence for 7 grams of cocaine that they can’t even prove he had in his possession, everything is based on a Kuwaiti officer’s word, how can they see this even humanly right? It is so easy to just accuse Jermaine and publish zero truth of the situation. Jermaine's living conditions are more for an animal than a human being! They have to drink from, use the toilet, brush their teeth and shower all from the same 1 faucet/stall that is provided. Inmates are being stabbed, overdosing and found hanging inside their prison cells and no investigation is ever done. The Kuwaiti legal system is unjust and Jermaine is being a victim of such a corrupted system. I implore you to please help make a difference, do not wait until it is too late for Jermaine. Thanks in advance Karina Mateo
