A representative of the embassy met with Jermaine the morning of 6 Oct 2016. The representative reported Jermaine is emotionally distraught but is holding together ok, Jermaine still suffering from multiple health issues but that the senior staff assistant in the prison states that Jermaine will continue to get medical appointments and test. The representative explained to Jermaine that his case is getting widespread attention within the U.S. Government and that they are raising the matter to the highest levels of the Kuwaiti Government.
