ACTION: UK's Cheapest Tariff END AT MIDNIGHT - & Contact your MP

Hi Everyone,
I've just found out that EDF's Energy Essentials Fixed 1Yr Oct25v4 tariff is closing tonight at midnight, meaning you won't be able to switch to it from tomorrow onward.
This is currently the cheapest tariff in the market, it's £164 cheaper than the current price cap, and with the January price cap predicted to go up around £60, it'll be over £200 cheaper than the price cap in the peak of winter!
For 99.9% of people, it makes sense to switch to a fixed rate deal as soon as possible, so if you're still on a variable tariff I recommend clicking the button above and switching today before this tariff ends.
I also wanted to tell you about an email campaign I'm running at the moment that has gained some traction, we're emailing our local MPs about the upcoming Ofgem Report. If you're interested in getting involved, please follow the instructions below:
- Create an email to your local MP, you can find their email address here: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
- CC me into the email: Richard@TheRegulatorGuy.co.uk
- Copy the email content in Italics below:
Dear [Local MP Name],
I am writing to you today to raise awareness for an upcoming report that will be shared with MPs and ministers across the country. Richard Winstone, The Regulator Guy, is producing a consumer-funded and supported report looking at Ofgem's decision making processes and their fundamental failings to proctect consumers throughout the energy crisis. The report will also provide recommended changes to the mandate given to Ofgem by Government, to ensure consumer protection is at the forefront of decision making going forward.
As an indicator of the type of failings the report will highlight, Richard is producing simplified blogs explaining some aspects of the report. Please see the link below for the first blog.
It is my recommendation that you subscribe to his blog and follow this chain of posts, to give you insight into how Ofgem have failed to appropriately regulate the energy market. I also request that you share this post, future posts related to the report, and the final report with the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ed Miliband.

I will share The Regulator Guy's report with you once it has been completed, I ask for your support in Government with producing the changes we will be requesting.
Kind regards,
[Your Name]
I have sent a similar message to my local MP and also to Ed Miliband, although I know I'll get an automated response from Ed saying that if I'm not in his constituency then he won't reply, this is fairly common in Government.
We'll do this sort of campaign again closer to the release of the finalised Ofgem Report. Some of you, those that have contributed £50 or more to the crowdfunder will receive a copy of the report early and will be given opportunity to give your feedback before it is released to the public.
Thanks everyone. Don't forget, look at the second link at the top and move to a fixed rate tariff to cut your energy bills this winter.
Thanks everyone,
Richard Winstone
