MP contacts about Ofgem conflict of interest

Two years with a conflict of intererst: https://youtu.be/kbExrG-La1w
Hi everyone,
Firstly, I want to thank everyone that got in contact with their MPs last week, forwarded me the messages and the replies, I really appreciate it.
In case you missed it, we've discovered that the guy in charge of our price cap since before the crisis had a serious conflict of interest for almost two years, his wife owned shares in SSE until April this year. During this time, the director in question oversaw 22 decisions that increased the price cap by over £300!
So we're calling on our MPs to produce a government investigation into the running of Ofgem, the conflict of interest, how he personally benefitted from the decisions he made as director and to review the changes that increased our bills, with the aim of reversing any that were clearly not appropriate. If you want to get involved, please watch the video above!
To everyone that has already got involved, please do keep me in the loop at support@over50smoney, any email responses you receive from your local MP will be great. I'll get round to responding to everyone eventually, but theres a couple of hundred to get through at the moment.
Finally, if you're interested, Ofgem are updating their average usage figures from 1 October, so I did a quick explanatory video on that. Have a look here to understand how it'll impact the price cap from 1 October: https://youtu.be/811s9xmmEhE
Thanks everyone, I'll be back soon with a new consultation video.
Kind regards,
Richard Winstone
