Hi everyone,

After posting the video yesterday, I went down a rabbit hole of looking into the profits of energy suppliers other than British Gas and trying to understand why Ofgem think that this is a one-off thing, which I don't think it is. So this video (above) discusses other profit levels in the market, my thoughts on those profits and I ask you all to contact your local MPs to get them to start taking action, these profits need to come back into our pockets not into shareholders! 

In the last couple of minutes of this video I talk about a new petition I'm starting. It's against mid-contract price rises in telecoms contracts (mobile phones, broadband, TV packages etc). This petition will go to Ofcom, I'll start communicating with them when we reach 50,000 signatures. I'm of the view that the government and our regulators are letting us down, so if we're going to get out of this financial crisis then we need to do it ourselves. That's what these petitions are about, that's what these videos are about, us taking control of our own finances.
