Our next steps to bring down our energy bills

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late post, feel free to ignore this until tomorrow!
This petition is going really well, we're in constant communication with Ofgem and we've handed the petition into 10 Downing Street, we're making excellent progress on getting public opinion heard by the powers than be!
But we need to think about next steps. There are two options, as far as I can see:
- We keep focused on reducing the profit allowance and removing the headroom allowance only.
- We become even more involved with Ofgem's decisions on the price cap, reacting to other consultations and helping shape the future of our energy market.
Being honest, I know option 2 is a lot more work for me but I've felt incredibly proud of the work I've done over the last 9 months, as well as overwhelmed by the support you've all offered and I believe we can make a bigger impact than we already have.
That being said, I'm also aware that you all signed this petition for a very specific reason, so I don't want to start posting about other elements of the price cap and asking you to help me in other struggles against Ofgem unless that's something you actually want to do.
