Hi everyone, 

As promised last week, I'll be publishing a response to Ofgem's consultation on changing the profit formula. Ofgem's document asks 7 questions and I'm currently composing the answers for those questions, which are quite lengthy! I'm going to send you my answers tomorrow and all the details you need to email those same answers to Ofgem. 

Of course, you're welcome to read what I've written and change anything you don't agree with or add anything else you want to say. 

I'll send you these answers tomorrow afternoon, I'll try to aim for as close to 13:00 as possible, giving you a few hours before the end of the working day to start sending your responses, but as long as they receive your email before 28 June, we'll be fine :) 

Usually Ofgem only receive a dozen or so responses to consultations, so I'm hoping a few thousand of us telling them that we oppose any increase in supplier profits should make a difference. 

Also, I put a link at the top of this update for you to register interest in energy updates and get notified when cheap deals return to the market. I sent this out a couple of weeks ago and thousands of you have already signed up, but if you missed it then just click the link above and register your interest. I'm hopeful that cheap energy deals will start hitting the market on or shortly after 1 July!
