My name is Arnaud Paris. I am the father of Eva and Juliette, 10-year-old French twins who were abducted in France last April by their American mother in violation of two French court rulings and a European travel ban.
For the past nine months, I don't know where they live, I have not been able to see or even do video calls with my daughters, despite the clear provisions of the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction, which mandates maintaining the bond between the left-behind parent and the children.

The French presidency is closely following this case. An arrest warrant for international child abduction has been issued by the French investigating judge handling the abduction case. However, the United States refuses to comply, violating international law.
Even worse, a local judge in Oregon, Judge Orr, who is part of a political scandal of corruption reported in the local Oregon media (https://tinyurl.com/53kdajuj decided to reward the mother who had just committed a criminal abduction in France with full custody of our children in Oregon.
To make things even worse, Judge Orr, who I had warned officially just before that the mother of Eva and Juliette had just done a criminal abduction of our children in France, went as far as far a making insulting comments in open court against the French and the French judicial system. As a result of this incredible insult to both the French and US Judicial systems by an Oregon judge, that even the local Oregon DA has accused of being "incapable of giving a fair trial" (https://tinyurl.com/bp93sa66 I haven't had any proper contact with Eva and Juliette for the last 9 months, not even by video calls.
As a result, on December 22, I started a hunger strike in front of the U.S. Embassy in Paris to raise public awareness and demand that my daughters’ rights be respected. At the very least, I was asking for the reestablishment of video communication with my daughters, which is an international legal obligation. That hunger strike lasted 33 days until it started to get the attention of the media and of the French and European politicians.
Maintaining this bond is mandatory in cases of abduction under Article 21 of the Hague Convention. The United States’ refusal to comply with this provision is a violation of international law that must be denounced with urgency through this petition.
I now need as much support as possible to bring this demand to the attention of the U.S. government, urging it to respect international law for me and my daughters who I haven't seen for the last 10 months not even on video calls that their mother has been forbidding them to have since they've been adducted in France last April.
This situation is critical because the US’s refusal to uphold international abduction laws in this case risks setting a dangerous precedent, potentially leading to a wave of child abductions from Europe to the U.S.
Please sign this petition to demand that the U.S.:
1. Comply with the Hague Convention by ensuring the reestablishment of contact between Eva, Juliette, and their father.
2. Honor its extradition agreement with France and ensure justice for this unlawful abduction.

Je m'appelle Arnaud Paris, je suis père de deux petites filles françaises, Eva et Juliette, jumelles de 9 ans, enlevées en avril dernier par leur mère américaine en violation de deux jugements français et d’une interdiction de sortie du territoire. Depuis près de 9 mois, je n’ai pu ni voir mes filles ni communiquer en visio avec elles, malgré les dispositions claires de la Convention de La Haye sur les enlèvements internationaux d’enfants qui prévoit le maintien obligatoire du lien avec le parent français.

La présidence française suit ce dossier et un mandat d'arrêt international a été émis par la juge d'instruction française en charge du dossier d'enlèvement que les USA refusent de respecter également en violation de l'accord d'extradition franco-américain.
J’ai débuté dimanche 22 décembre une grève de la faim devant l’ambassade américaine à Paris pour alerter l’opinion publique et exiger que les droits de mes filles soient respectés. Je demande au minimum que le lien soit rétabli avec mes filles par visio car je ne les aie pas vues depuis 9 mois ce qui est une obligation dans le droit international.
Maintenir ce lien est une obligation en cas d’enlèvement selon l’article 21 de la Convention de La Haye que les USA sont aussi en train de violer vis-à-vis de la France et que nous devons dénoncer avec force par cette pétition.
J’ai besoin d’obtenir un maximum de soutien grâce à cette pétition pour relayer cette demande auprès du gouvernement américain afin qu'il respecte le droit international envers moi et mes filles.
Il faut aussi que l’opinion publique mondiale soit alertée pour exiger le respect des traités internationaux et des droits fondamentaux par les USA envers deux petites citoyennes françaises dont les droits à avoir un père sont bafoués depuis 9 mois.
Cette affaire est devenue gravissime car les USA refusent depuis de faire appliquer le droit international en matière d'enlèvement dans ce dossier sont en train de créer un précédent grave qui pourrait ouvrir la voie à une vague massive d'enlèvements d'enfants dans toute l'Europe vers les USA.
