Accountancy Business Management (ABM) Strand, focuses on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations and the things that are accounted for. It can also lead you to careers on management and accounting but ABM Strand is one of the challenging strand because it will cover two major mathematics subject, General Mathematics and Business Mathematics. Mathematics is essential to our daily life activities. However, studying this subject is not easy. Many students encountered difficulties in learning this subject specially to those students who gave a little interest and find this subject difficult and obscure. This leads students to have a hard time in coping and understanding, as a result they get a very low and even failing grades.

          There are several factors that students encounter regarding the difficulties in learning mathematics. First, the student factor which includes study habits, time management, attitude, and interest towards mathematics, they always think that they won’t be able to solve mathematical equations and problems. Second is teacher factor such as teaching techniques and approach to students. They said that the lesson wasn’t explained well.

          We are doing this to help those students who find math subjects hard to understand, of course by providing advices and strategies on how will they going to improve their skills in solving mathematical equations and problems. To the purpose that will lessen the fear, the burden and the negative mindset of the students, especially to avoid shifting of strands and drop outs.

          We are going to school to gain knowledge, to be a better person and to have a better future, do not be afraid to commit and make mistakes, we can learn from it. Make it as our motivations. Do not be afraid to explore and have fun while studying.

          For more information, our group will create a Facebook Page, blog using word press, online petition and websites in able for you to reach us so that we can give you more information or even advices in coping your fear in mathematics.
