Thank you to everyone who continues to support this petition and the call for urgent action on social housing neglect.

Firstly, I want to share that our story was recently featured on ITV News London — a vital step in getting these serious issues the wider attention they deserve. I spoke openly about the ongoing neglect, including unresolved pest infestations and a lack of hot water, which have impacted multiple families, including my own. I also informed ITV that despite MP Liam Conlon publicly stating he has supported me and “will continue to do so,” he has yet to directly contact me, even though I have chased him. So far, I’ve received no response.

Regarding Southern Housing, they have now booked pest control sprays for the affected flats. However, the first visit resulted in only 3 out of 7 flats being treated — despite this being a communal infestation, not an isolated issue. Partial action is not enough. We need complete and consistent treatment to protect the health and safety of all residents.

This is not just about me — this is about every family in Bromley and beyond who has been ignored, failed, and left to live in unsafe conditions by the very institutions meant to protect us.
