The Issue

Please support this opportunity to improve our local area and share with family, friends and neighbours!

Bus route 380 connects Lewisham, Blackheath, Greenwich, Charlton, Plumstead and Belmarsh, carrying over 2 million passengers every year through our neighbourhoods, schools and town centres.

Transport for London have said they will not consider electrification of this route until after 2030 (at the earliest). This means many more years of dirty air and noise through our backstreets and near the 6 schools this route passes next to!

Electric buses would bring clear benefits:

  1. Cleaner air, with zero tailpipe emissions.
  2. Quieter streets, reducing noise for resident's.
  3. Better health, especially for children and older people.

Other London bus routes with similar passenger numbers have already been electrified, showing that earlier conversion is possible. We are asking Transport for London to make this happen for our local area now.

By signing this petition, you are supporting cleaner air, quieter streets and a healthier community. Thank you.
