In light of recent unfortunate events, NMU Student, Dominick Dotson, created and distributed a voluntary and anonymous survey which aimed to assess the general state of mental health and mental health resources on Northern Michigan University's campus.  His goal was to collect opinions to present to the board of trustees in order to encourage positive change and to help prevent another tragedy, and to help promote the general wellbeing of his fellow students. 

Northern Michigan University responded to his survey by suspending him indefinitely. 

Please support this petition to help us persuade NMU to reverse their decision to suspend Dominick and tell them that they need to improve their mental health resources on campus to help prevent another tragedy like the one that happened recently.
