• As the carcasses along our peri-urban high speed roads testify, including females with live young in pouches still trying to suckle on their dead mothers teats, kangaroos suffer displacement from loss of habitat, safe movement pathways and ultimately death on busy roads in a desperate search for food,water and places for rest.
