Stepney made his debut in the 18th book of The Railway Series " Stepney The Bluebell Engine". He made his debut in the Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends episode "Rusty To The Rescue".  Stepney had a total of 4 Episodes with a lead role, His last one being the 5th Series Episode "Stepney Gets Lost", Which was also his last speaking role in the show. Stepney became a background character in the 6th and 7th series of the show. He was absent when Hit Entertainment took over in 2003. His last ever appearance was the 12th series episode "Rosie's Funfair Special", Which was aired on September 3rd, 2008. He has been absent from the show for 17 years, which has impacted me when i got back into Thomas last year, and i think it needs to change as Stepney is my favourite character besides Gordon. With 2026 around the corner as well as the 2026 Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends project to be revealed, I think this is a great opportunity to bring back a fan favourite Character to a new Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends Reboot! Its best to sign this before the new year hits!
