Henry Jackson was sentenced to sixty years in prison in 1993 for a drug charge. He has now served a little over twenty eight years which is more than enough time for a none violent crime. Mr Jackson is a completely changed man he is a role model to the other inmates. He has been in the same prison the entire time he’s been incarcerated because he’s never been in any trouble while being there. Being able to stay in the same prison while being incarcerated rarely ever happens because most people are moved around a lot. Before going to prison Mr. Jackson also has son that was born while he has been incarcerated who now a twenty eight year old man with a child of his own. He has never had a chance to spend anytime with his son outside of prison walls. Henry was also diagnosed with cancer while incarcerated and later beat it. I could go on and on about Mr Jackson. Sixty years is way to long when there are murders, and child rapist that get less time and are back home with their families. Enough is enough we just want Henry home he deserves a second chance after almost thirty years. He doesn’t deserve to spend the rest of his life in prison for a mistake he made. He’s had more than enough time to think and learn from his mistake. For those that want to know exactly what he is charged with he was charged with cocaine sale. Over 28 years is more than enough time for such crime, in my opinion it’s way to much time. Not to mention he was never caught with anything it was all here say. Mr Henry Jackson plans whenever he gets to come home is to find a job and help with his grandchildren, most of his grandchildren are big kids so he has missed out on a lot but he still have a chance with them chance especially his 7 month old grandson grow up who he adores. He has three children and all three are fully grown adults so he’s pretty much missed out on the majority of there lives but he plans to be the be the best dad he can he can’t make up for lost times but he can move forward with being there for them. He is a completely changed person he is not the same man he was 28 years ago. He was 35 when sentenced now he is 65 years old he doesn’t deserve to die in prison.
