Help Brian Mason get Commuted

Help Brian Mason get Commuted
The Issue
Getting Brian Commuted, well mean he will have a second chance.
Brian Mason first person to graduate High school in his immediate family. Graduated with all A's and B's. Held a full-time job from the time he was legally able to work (age 16). Brian Mason is 1 of several people serving LIFE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE (LOWP) in California's State Prison, under the Murder Felony Rule. Brian Mason had NEVER been in trouble one day of his first 18 years of life. He was charged and convicted as an UNARMED, NON-KILLER, aider and abettor in a exaggerated case of robbery, in which someone Brian was with, decided on their own will, that they wanted to kill someone. Because of the Murder Felony Rule, Brian is held responsible for the murder, as if he did it himself. This type of law puts all of us at risk, if we can’t be judged off our on conduct, but off the conduct of others, how are we in a free Country? He was 18 years old at the time of this crime, he is now 37. He will most likely die in prison. He will never be given a second chance. A first-time offender, no prior criminal record whatsoever, not the actual killer, and this is someone we think can't be rehabilitated and given a second chance at life? Since Brian has been incarcerated, he has found a new outlook on life. He has gotten married and is also a very active step father. Brian Mason and his family ask that we all come together, that one day we can all see how broken our criminal justice system is towards people of color, women, and minorities. Some may say he falls under the youth or juvenile laws, such as SB 260, SB 261, SB 1437, NO. Sadly, all these laws exclude Brian from getting relief. Only hope Brian has, is if the Governor of California drops the Lwops and let the prison boards determine who should be held forever or who should be given a second Chance. PEO vs Brian Anthony Mason (2001)
