My name is Hayden, and I'm reaching out not just for myself but for many others who might be in a similar situation. Sexual assault, manipulation, rape, there's alot of that going around. Kids dont get introuble for it and it's probably because of there age, but because nothings happening it's gonna continue and many people are gonna get harmed from this! Even if nothing happends, the getting close is still a problem because it could have happend or still could.

I personally feel, from experience, that kids and teens who do things like this should face consequences—not in a hurtful way or by being sent to jail, but through counseling and some type of help program. Some courts may say that they are just observing or that their behavior is because of their age. However, I feel that when you're in your teen years, you should know the difference between right and wrong. If kids aren't given consequences such as counseling or a help program, they may think that what they're doing is okay. Even if they know what they're doing is wrong, they may not care because they believe they can get away with it. I fear that if this behavior isn't addressed, some kids could grow up and continue doing it. This isn't right. People can be sexually assaulted, raped, or manipulated, and this problem needs to be taken seriously. The more this behavior is ignored, the more people could be harmed. This is not okay, and something needs to be done.  It hurts knowing teens get away with this, when the other kids are left hurt, when the kids who did wrong fee they can get away with it or even do it again. I say teens because by teen years you should know what sexual assault, rape, manipulation all is, and know from right and wrong so you should get some help for doing it, so it doesn't continue, and something we dont have several people getting harmed.

By signing this petition, you are supporting the idea that teens who sexually assault, rape, or manipulate others should receive appropriate help, such as counseling and a structured help program. I want to make a change,  make kids, like me feel safer and also help the person who did the rape,  sexual assault,  manipulation or even close to doing any sort of sexual assault gets help to grow them into mature adults and help them so this happends less! The people this happends to this can make a big impact on there life and it can make it even worse when nothings done, you can feel no one is on your side or cares, when your really hurting and what happend is gross and very wrong.

Let's break the cycle of ignorance and allow young offenders a chance for redemption and understanding.
