According to leading scientists, 

·      30,000 species per year are being driven towards extinction which equals to:

·      6 per hour

·      150 per day (1).

·      The United Nations has declared 1,000,000 animal and plant species are threatened with extinction (1). 

·      The World Animal Foundation predicts that up to one half of all species could become extinct by 2050 (1).  That is only 27 years away. 

We are currently experiencing the world’s sixth mass extinction crisis.  The first five mass extinctions were caused by natural phenomena.  This current extinction is almost exclusively due to humans. 

If animals are racing towards extinction due to human related activities such as hunting, then it is up to us to change the course of their fate.  

Animals do not have the power to change what is happening to them BUT we do.
