Alfie had to go to hospital the other week due to high potassium in his blood which can cause renal failure. So at the moment he is off the CIS Ret Acid and fingers crossed he can start this again later in the month. It is always 2 steps forward and 4 steps back when it comes to Alfie. Nothing is ever straight forward. However we carry on because we must for Alfie. For Alfie to have hope we must also have it. If Alfie is fighting we must stay strong behind him. For Alfie to not give up we must not give up trying. We knew this would never be easy, maybe we didn't realise how hard it would be but if we have learned anything from it, it is as a Team we are strongest and more determined. There are days when we want to see the light at the end of the tunnel for Alfie sooner rather than later. There are days when Alfie doesn't have the energy to participate and who can blame him? Ten years of his life has been spent fighting this disease. Its exhausting...... What I really want to say in this message is everyone supporting us has a special place in our hearts. We just really need more help to cover areas all up and down the country and even abroad. Sharing this petition, sharing a social media post, sharing an email it helps in so many ways. We are such a small team I wish we had more time on our hands to do it. So I am calling upon you our lovely Alfie Supporters to spread the word in anyway shape or form you can. Every Little Helps....
