On September 6, St Francis and POUA filed an LOI with the BPDA, after removing proposal-related content from their website and disabling new comments. This letter is incredibly vague:

• it was not formally filed by the POUA like the last waiver request, but by the law firm Goulston & Storrs
• it does not use the word "homeless"
• it does not mention "Permanent supportive housing" or "PSH"; only "a supportive housing component" for "eligible residents"
• it does not even mention the name "Helm"

There is not a lot of transparency... But somehow we have a hunch that the 48 units the letter mentions are still going to be PSH, for the homeless, with no requirements for sobriety or treatment.

We believe the proponents are now starting to accelerate their attempts to get this approved.

It is now more important than ever to unite, spread the word, and secure representation to oppose the project through legal means.
